Mary Coyneen, in honour of her husband Joe Dunbar.
Joe, We Don’t Say Goodbye
Even though I cry
I ask no more the reason why
It’s you I miss
That lovin kiss
That laugh you had
That crazy you
Somehow it made us as two
Wherever we went you drew a crowd
A story to tell
A friend to make
For that and more they loved you too
Behind the scenes
a sadness crept
Another you that saddened me too
We don’t say goodbye
Though you could not stay
Just so long my love till another day 💚
